The band X are known as the quintessential Los Angles punk rock act. Founded in 1977 the band has blazed a trail that has influenced and inspired countless others. Billy Zoom, D.J. Bonebrake, Exene Cervenka, and John Doe have created a body of work that stands the test of time. Their collaboration with producer Ray Manzarek (The Doors) led to the creation of what some critics cite as L.A.'s greatest punk rock recordings, and the band was even honored with an Official Certificate of Recognition from the City of Los Angeles in acknowledgment of their important contributions to Los Angeles music and culture.

Porterhouse Records is fortunate enough to bring you these gems created by the band during this important era, in their original 12" vinyl format.

"Los Angeles", "Wild Gift", "Under the Big Black Sun" and "More Fun in the New World" are all testaments to an incredibly creative band at the top of their game.

X continues to tour and play live, and are consummate professionals and performers, they remain a real treasure for all to enjoy.
